Yatton & Congresbury

The village of Yatton dates back several hundred years with many landmarks still being dotted around the area today. Yatton is a vibrant commuter village with a variety of facilities and amenities and an excellent range of housing to suit all needs ranging from the first time buyer to the family and indeed, the retired as well.
Communication links are excellent. Yatton benefits its own main line railway station, easy access to the M5 motorway (Junction 20 only some 4 miles away) and direct access to Bristol via the main A370.
The village has an extensive range of facilities including a variety of shops with supermarket, chemist, banks, Post Office and restaurant/takeaways. Sporting and leisure facilities include cricket, football, rugby, tennis clubs and 2 golf courses within a 6 miles radius. On the outskirts of the village is Cadbury Country Club with facilities including health club, restaurant, conferencing, weddings, entertainment and soon to be completed hotel.
Congresbury (locally pronounced "Congsbry") is a village in North Somerset, with a population of approiximately 3,400. It is situated on the A370, roughly equidistant between Junction 21 of the M5 and Bristol International Airport, approximately 13 miles south of Bristol City Centre, and 7 miles north of Weston super Mare.
The nearest railway station in the nearby village of Yatton, while the Congresbury Yeo river flows through the village. Congresbury is named after St. Congar, who is said to have performed three miracles in the area.
There are Primary Schools and Playgroups within the village with secondary education available at the nearby village of Churchill where the Comprehensive School has its own Sports Complex.
